We are also able to offer driven Dagestan Tur Hunts in the month of August, for more information, please enquire.

To secure a Dagestan Trophy we offer a 7 day package, with 5 days of hunting.

Day 1: Arrival in Baku International Airport, Azerbaijan. Our hunters will be met at the airport by our guide and where necessary translator. All rifle permits will be organised beforehand, and the importation of your rifle and ammunition to Azerbaijan will be simple.

At this point you will either spend the first night in Baku with early morning transfer to the base camp and hunting ground (5-6 hours), or go straight from the airport.

The hunter will have a 2.5 hour journey from Baku to the village of Itsi Su by jeep or bus, where there will be a short stop for lunch. The hunting truck will be loaded, and the drive from the village to our mountain camp takes another 3 hours.

The drive is beautiful giving the hunter a real feel for the mountains that they will be hunting and offers perfect opportunities to ask questions about the forthcoming hunt.

Day 2 – 5: 4 or 5 days hunting. Hunting is conducted from the base camps on horse back with your highly experienced guides. Early morning starts with a hearty breakfast, giving the hunter the optimum chance and fuel necessary to achieve your target. Time will be spent glassing the upper ridges of the mountains and prime feeding areas, until your perfect trophy is located. Once located the hunter will approach on foot stalking gradually until into shooting position. Shots may taken anywhere from 150 to 300 meters. Fly camps may be used if required. At nightfall or upon success, return to camp for evening hot meal and discussion on method of attack for the following day.

Day 6 : Hunting can be conducted in the morning, followed by transfer back to Baku, usually arriving back about 6pm. Overnight in hotel or apartment, a small walking tour of the city is conducted, with dinner in a national restaurant.

Day 7/8: Transfer to Baku Airport, all permits and CITES certificates will be provided for the exportation of the hunter's trophies, and departure.
