The Sportsman can spend as long or little on a hunting safari to Africa, but we would suggest a trip of 7 days with 5 days hunting, to make your trip worthwhile and to ensure you return hom ewith a good selection of trophies.

Day 1: Arrival. You will be met at windhoek all rifle and ammunition permits will be provided and then transfer to the hunting grounds in the north east of Namibia. (This is not included in the overall safari price.)

Day 2-6: Hunting Days. Early Start & breakfast. Hunting begins early with a rest or siesta during the hottest part of the day, from about noon. The hunt then continues in the afternoon.

Hunting is generally done on foot, using a spot and stalk method, but also tracking the animals. Generally only bow hunters will use the blinds by waterholes. Although a vehicle may be used to cover distances unable to be done on foot, no shots will ever be taken from a vehicle.

Day 7: Transfer back to Windhoek and departure
